Mild sausages go well with lightly flavoured yet aromatic beverages. For example, a well-balanced beer or white wine, and also a lightish red.

Fatty fish often has more flavour than leaner species, so the beverages you choose to accompany them can also be more full-bodied.

Pork is milder than, for example, beef. So your beverage choices should also be on the lighter side.
